Abstract

Dicarbonyl(η⁵-cyclopentadienyl)(diethylaminocarbyne)(tungsten reacts with dimethyl(methylthio)sulfonium tetrafluoroborate to form dicarbonyl(η⁵-cyclopentadienyl)[η²-diethylamino(methylthio)carbene]tungsten in high yields.
