Abstract
Borrelia burgdorferi (B. burgdorferi)-induced Lymphadenosis cutis benigna (LACB) does not cause diagnostic problems for the experienced dermatologist. There is no doubt about the necessity for treatment. In children amoxycillin and erythromycin are the most frequently recommended drugs. We report about effective treatment without complications with the oral second-generation cephalosporin cefuroximaxetil in two children with B. burgdorferi-associated LACB. In this way another valuable drug is added to the existing therapeutic arsenal.
