Abstract

Problems in design of mass transfer equipment due to phenomena in flow of boundary layer and heat transfer mechanisms are reviewed. A summary of recent advances in extraction method is given. The topics discussed include boundary layer, formation of droplets, droplet column movements, mixing processes and mass transfer rates.
