Abstract

In this paper the zero-crossing behaviour of bandlimited signals and bandpass signals is analysed. There are constructed real valued bandlimited signals with finite energy, which don't have a real zero point. It is impossible to reconstruct these signals with the help of zero-crossing algorithm. It is also shown in this paper that all bandpass-signals have a real zero point.
