Abstract
Various mathematical models have been developed for determination of stresses in bituminous pavements. Models are predominantly based on the theory of elasticity, while taking under consideration a multilayer construction. It is customary within the territory of the German Federal Republic to determine at the interfaces of layers the stresses due to the load of traffic. Paper considers also a construction that encompasses a thermal insulating layer on a subgrade of light weight concrete.
