Viscous glycerol

Abstract

Molecular motion in glycerol is studied by coherent neutron scattering, incoherent neutron scattering, and field gradient NMR. Phononic and fast relaxational modes do not extend above 1 ps which allows a thorough scaling analysis of structural relaxation.
