Abstract

The paper deals with the calculation of the vibrations caused by the passage of a train in a tunnel including the rotational (roll) movement of the coaches. Therefore the dynamic interaction of a vehicle with a floating slab-track, the tunnel and the half-space is taken into account. The movements are caused by laterally nonsymmetric wheel out-of-roundnesses of the vehicle. The presented model is based on a coupling of the Finite Element Method (FEM) with the Integral Transform Method (ITM).
