Abstract

The isolated fractures of the bony orbit and their management are described in a series of 121 operations for orbital fractures. A case is reported to illustrate how the knowledge of individual forms of fracture affects the treatment of the multiple orbital injuries, most commonly seen in the clinic. A time table has been devised to indicate to the rhinologist the optimum time for operation of these fractures.
