Abstract

Because of the increasing complexity in indirect business areas processes become more intransparent. To increase the transparency and to create a basis for the value-oriented analysis and valuation of waste according to the philosophy of Lean Management, the processes of indirect areas have to be modeled precisely. This article introduces a methodology to map processes focusing on waste.
