Abstract
The highly complex nature of the integrated development process requires today's computer systems to map information during each stage and to make it available when required for subsequent stages of the process. Using the modification process as an example, the following article illustrates how the use of a computer-aided tool can optimize the information flow in the development process and thereby shorten the development period.
