Abstract

We give a short review on the derivation and the solution of equations describing transport in collective phase space, with emphasis on the special character of nuclear dynamics. We discuss the problem of including quantum effects and describe briefly the effect of the fluctuating force on the phenomenon of dissipative tunnelling.
