Abstract
The radionuclide distributions of the imaging agents thallium(201Tl) and technetium-99m-Stannous-pyrophosphate (99mTc-Sn-PyP) were studied in the infarcted heart of the cat (n = 20). After 24h, experimentally induced myocardial infarction tracer concentrations of about 100 myocardial tissue samples taken from each heart were determined. The distribution patterns of both radionuclides were compared.
