Abstract
Corrosion fatigue is composed of mechanical and corrosive stress and caused by slipping of plane, form-closed metallic interfaces pressed together. No standardized test procedures are available in practice or described in research literature. Thus a testing machine was devised to measure friction over long time periods and in an oxidizing atmosphere. The machine stresses specimens by rotation and tension-compression and produces corrosion fatigue. Stress parameters may be defined. (English summary)
