Abstract

This article presents the concept of unstructured templates developed for SVM-Fortran, a language for programming scientific applications on massively parallel shared virtual memory systems. Unstructured templates are an extension of the template concept of HPF and allow to pass application level information to the compiler, runtime system, and performance analysis tools.
