Two-color femtosecond spectroscopy of large-momentum excitons in GaAs

Abstract

The authors report to have performed highly sensitive pump-probe experiments using a special two-color fs-Ti:sapphire laser with two independently tunable pulse trains. Large momentum exciton polaritons with excess energies up to 300 meV were investigated in bulk GaAs.
