Abstract

One narrow-band substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW) dual-mode square cavity bandpass filter is proposed. Two inductive perturbation metal cylinders are introduced into the cavity to tune the resonant frequencies, bandwidth and out-of-band rejection. One prototype was fabricated and measured, good agreement between the measured and simulated results are observed. The derivation of the resonant frequency is only 0.3%, the bandwidth is about 3.5% at -15dB return loss.
