Abstract
The clinical results after local application of a new preparation with urea and polidocanole in a special galenic basis are presented. The therapeutic effects on dermatoses with a chronic sebostatic component and reduced water binding capacity, e.g. atopic dermatitis, were excellent or good in 74% of the 97 documented patients. The dry skin already changed to normal in the documented average time of about 2-3 weeks of treatment in 61,5% of the patients. Because of the good tolerance and the galenic qualities the new preparation with urea and polidocanole was very well accepted by the treated patients.
