Abstract
ESR spectra of the triplet states of charge-transfer (CT) complexes in oriented liquid crystal glasses and of a single crystal (1:1 complex of naphthalene and s-tetracyanobenzene) are reported. The experiments provide a new method for the study of molecular orientation in oriented matrices and for the absolute assignment of the fine structure tensor to the molecular frame.
