Abstract

An outline is given of the clinical and histopathological features of transitory acantholytic dermatosis first described by Grover in 1970. Then there follows a description of 3 further published cases of acantholytic dermatoses: benign papular acantholytic dermatosis, bullous transitory acantholytic dermatosis and persisting acantholytic dermatosis. The author reports a personal case of a bullous TAD in an atopic woman aged 25.
