The following paper describes the results of some experiments on flight tunnel presentation in airplanes. Furthermore the transfer into the Head-Up-Display is discussed. Also the arising psychological and ergonomical challenge because of the integration of these systems in a car is debated. Moreover the technical realisation is addressed. First results of a simulator experiment with two different "driving-tubes" show a positive influence on the subjective speed keeping ability as well as no bad influence on the self reported workload.
