Abstract

Employees in manufacturing companies are consistently finding themselves exposed to changing job descrip tions and challenges in the era of Industrie 4.0. To ensure the preservation of productivity and competitive advantages, manufacturing companies need to train their employees in interacting with new, emerging technologies. This paper presents possibilities to arrange for the transfer of knowledge in production environments and describes a systematic approach for the conception of hands-on trainings. By means of a systematic guideline, the readers are given the opportunity to design successful hands-on trainings themselves.
