Abstract
A system for quantitative transfer of thermally desorbed substances onto capillary columns is described. During desorption substances are intermediately trapped in a programmable temperature vaporizer (PTV) cooled to -150°C. After condensation the injector is heated to a preset temeprature in a few seconds. Various applications are mentioned.
