Abstract

For comprehensive management of Information Technology (IT)-cycles in (transdisciplinary) innovation processes, interviews and workshops with different industry partners from automation technology were conducted. IT-cycles were identified and are presented as reference model of IT innovation processes. An important finding of the interviews is the prioritization of modularization as well as variant and version management as important success factors for innovations and their complexity management. Therefore a concept for interdisciplinary module management is briefly presented in this paper.
