THz time-domain transmission of YBa2Cu3O7-δ thin films on silicon

Abstract

This paper examines THz time-domain transmission of YBa2Cu3O7-8 thin films on buffered silicon. The critical thickness dc for YBCO on YSZ/Si is known to be about 50-70 nm. The residual resistance and the absolute value of the magnetic penetration depth is determined for films of different thickness below dc.
