Abstract

For teenagers, social networks serve as a space to actively socialize and communicate with peers or just hang out. We used an online questionnaire to elicit responses from American and German teenagers on their use of Facebook. Our results suggest that there are few differences in the way these two culturally different groups use Facebook.
