Abstract

The major products in the γ-radiolysis of liquid CF₂Cl₂ are CFCl₃, CF₃Cl, CF₂ClCF₂Cl and CF₂ClCFCl₂ in decreasing order of yield. The effect of several scavengers were studied and mechanisms leading to the major products are suggested.
