Abstract
We prove that for dimensions d = 1, 2 the polaron (with general dispersion relation and couplings) has a unique ground state for any value of the total momentum (particle+ Bose field). For d ≥ 3 and for sufficiently small total momentum we show the existence of a unique ground state, extending however the domain of uniqueness known previously.
