Abstract

Using the ARGUS detector at the e+e- storage ring DORIS II at DESY, we have observed the decays D+→K-K0π+π+ and Ds+→K-K0π+π+. The branching ratios were determined to be BR(D+→K-K0π+π+)=(1.0±0.5±0.3)% and BR(Ds+→K-K0π+π+)/BR(Ds+→φπ+)=1.2±0.2±0.2. These decays are found to proceed mostly via the {Mathematical expression} decay channel, with BR(D+→ {Mathematical expression})=2.6±0.8±0.7)% and BR(Ds+→ {Mathematical expression})/BR(Ds+→φπ+)=1.5±0.4±0.4.
