Abstract
Considering responses of 213 patients before and 316 patients after a renal transplantation to the 19-item version of the German Munich Quality of Life Questionnaire (MLDL), the present study analyzed item characteristics, and aspects of reliability and validity of the MLDL. The reliability coefficients as well as the discriminant validity of several items were acceptable, but psychometric analyses do not suggest the fitness of the factorial structure.
