Abstract
The mode coupling theory for the supercooled liquid dynamics exhibits bifurcation singularities which cause a cross over from liquid to glass behaviour at some temperature Tc. Near Tc the relaxation is a two step process specified by two diverging time scales and two time decay fractals. One process describes the known a-relaxation of structural glass formers, in particular the stretching phenomenon. The other is a generalization of the fl-process. The theoretical results correlate with some experimental data on fragile glass formers.
