The impact of storytelling on innovation: A multi case study

Abstract

We study the effect of storytelling within the family on family firm innovation. Based on a multi-case study of 41 Italian family wineries, we reveal that the shared stories affect decision making within the firm and ultimately innovation. We further show that the stories' content affects the level of innovation.
