Abstract
In this report tests on five partial prestressed reinforced concrete slabs are described. The main problems regarding the crack geometry and the stress behavior of both the concrete and the prestressing reinforcement under repeated loading were studied. Thick transverse reinforcement bars were located at a distance of 200 mm to obtain the cracks at the desired locations. Very short gages were installed at the predicted crack points and in areas between two neighboring cracks to control the crack development.
