Abstract
From the bark of Prunus cerasus tectochrysin 5-glucoside, genistein 5-glucoside and prunetin 5-glucoside were isolated and identified. The first two compounds are novel natural products. Together with already known flavonoids these compounds readily distinguish P. cerasus and P. avium.
