Abstract

During the recent years the business environment of producing companies intensified due to ongoing globalization of markets. In order to remain competitive, the process of technology foresight regarding production technologies gains growing importance. Besides a systematic analysis of prospective technology needs of a company, the developed method enables a systematic search for production technologies. The developed six-step approach was evaluated by interviewing industry experts.
