Abstract
The development of new products often implicates an increasing use of new components or materials. In many cases this goes along with the use of newly developed manufacturing technologies. In order to evaluate risks linked with these manufacturing technologies a systematic technology screening is necessary. The screening methodology presented in this paper is exemplified for the production of an electric vehicle.
