Abstract

Smart dairy farming is widely discussed in dairy farming. Due to the new data matrix that is available, the machines and devices used in the barn must also become autonomous in order to be able to adjust to the information more quickly and efficiently without putting additional strain on the farmer. As part of a multi-stage practical project, a new basic structure for self-propelled TMR feed mixers for cows was therefore developed in cooperation with the company SILOKING Mayer Maschinenbau GmbH Tittmoning / Germany. The first stage is a switch to electric drives. In the second stage, a self-structuring navigation system and the necessary safety concept were developed to enable driverless use in the barn. Driverless navigation outside the barn and filling are planned as further stages. The investigation should show the development process and its influencing factors. In addition to the technological aspects, the economic, ecological, work organization, safety-structural, legal and social aspects are also analyzed..
