Abstract
Distribution warehouses need to provide a high overall energy efficiency in future. Besides, a significant part of their energy demand has to be gained from renewable sources. To identify the parameters for reducing the energy demand, several design options were assessed on their impacts on the total energy balance. The options consider field of design intra logistics, the buildings technology and envelope.
