Abstract

System identification methods allow the determination of the dynamic behaviour of machine tools and the optimization of process parameters during machining operation. Cloud-based approaches facilitate the evaluation of large amounts of data and the aggregation of information from various machine tools and production sites. However, in order to increase the willingness of companies to make this data available across company boundaries, the information must be transferred in an anonymous and encrypted state.
