Abstract

This paper presents a methodology to realize a fully automated assembly process which can be synchronized to the conveying system. The system is build up by using standardized components like industrial robots which are equipped with a camera and a force-torque sensor. Advantages and requirements of the synchronized assembly in the final assembly of vehicles are pointed out.
