Abstract
The Synthesis of Technetium and Rhenium phthalocyanines was undertaken by recoil implantation of isotopes generated by (d,xn) reactions in a mixture of molybdenum or tungsten (or its oxide) with copper phthalocyanine. Radioactive isotopes of Technetium and Rhenium were found unambiguously in the copper phthalocyanine sublimate and the fraction, which was dissolved in concentrated sulfuric acid and coprecipitated with copper phthalocyanine by dilution of the solution with water. These behaviour shows the properties expected for Technetium phthalocyanine about which little was known so far. The most probable valence state of Technetium and Rhenium in the complex seems to be + 4. Annealing and isotope effects were also observed.
