Abstract

A convenient large-scale synthesis of chloro-dimethylphosphane-borane from the phosphane and bo-rane-tetrahydrofuran adduct is described. The product is the starting material for the chemistry with the H3b(chj)2P-group as illustrated by the examples dimethyl(amino)phosphane-borane and sodium (boranato-dimethylphosphinite).
