Abstract

Soft x-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) spectra for different crystallographic projections of epitaxial CrO2 films was studied. Moment analysis which uses band-structure-calculated energy positions and linewidths was used for description of XMCD. Results showed that there is a strong anisotropic behavior of the CrL2,3 XMCD spectra.
