Abstract

Modular product design, supplier integration, efficient product development processes and the selection of suitable methods are important topics within the development of mechatronic products. This article introduces three BMBFfunded projects (MEPROMA, GiBWert, Syn-Prod), each addressing one of the three abovementioned challenges. This article presents the project results, highlights the interfaces between the projects and shows how the different topics can be integrated.
