Abstract

Due to the increasing dynamic in the production companies' environment, the number of reconfigurations on assembly manufacturing resources (AMRs) rises. Hence, it is necessary to evaluate reconfigurability of manufacturing resources and to plan the reconfigurations strategically. At iwb a methodology to evaluate reconfigurability was already designed. In this article it is expanded to a planning methodology. Furthermore, the application is exemplarily shown.
