Abstract
Due to the energy transition and the extension of the use of re - newable energy sources, German industries will be confronted with a volatile energy supply. An answer to this challenge is adapting the own energy requirement to the supply. This article shows, how the energy requirement of cutting machine tools can be controlled without a negative influence on performance and reliability.
