Increasing the Flexibility of Energy Consumption in Factories. Because of the expansion of renewable energy and the growing need to control the energy demand the energy flexibility of factories needs to be extent. For this purpose additional flexibility potentials have to be identified und systematically developed. These could be used during the operating phase to control the energy demand. This article examines the expansion of energy flexibility and presents therefore an approach.
