note = "Funding Information: The future of scientific publishing will be Open Access. Already in some countries, every research work supported by an official government grant, for example the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the United States – must be published as open access. Until now, the major obstacle for authors to publish their articles open access has been the cost of article publication charges (APCs). Therefore, it is a great advantage that our publisher Wiley has signed transitional agreements for promoting open access with various countries in Europe, the largest one with Germany{\textquoteright}s alliance of scientific institutions called Projekt DEAL. This means that articles with a corresponding author from one out of nearly 700 institutions in Germany (universities, research institutes, large hospitals, government facilities, etc.) are published open access without charges to the authors. Recently, Wiley has also signed another such an agreement with Jisc, offering researchers at eligible UK universities the opportunity to publish open access at no direct cost to them. With these new agreements, cooperation between the European countries to move towards full open access will be further enhanced. ",
