Abstract
The ferromagnetic resonance experiments on Ga1-xMnxAs thin films were reported. Eight distinct resonances were observed for the direct current (dc) magnetic field perpendicular to the sample plane which were attributed to spin wave modes. To account for the spacing of the resonances, a linear gradient in the magnetic properties was inferred, which was ascribed to a linear variation of the uniaxial magnetic anisotropy with film thickness.
