Abstract

Optimal conditions for creating shallow ensemble nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in a 12C-enriched diamond were investigated. NV spin properties, created by implantation of 15N+ ions with 2−5 keV energies and 1 × 1011−1 × 1013 ions cm−2 doses, were evaluated by Rabi contrast, longitudinal relaxation time T1, and spin-spin relaxation time T2 (spin echo).
