Abstract
The concepts of equivalent living conditions and spatial justice gain importance in the context of increasing spatial disparities and the often controversial debate on appropriate political and governmental actions. The article argues that there is an universal equity norm based on human rights and dignity, which leaves no alternative but to continue to do everything possible to ensure or pursue an equitable territorial development throughout the country. This question of equity and fairness, previously discussed primarily by geographers, economists and lawyers, should also become a central topic for surveyors, particularly considering the relevant and spatially significant contributions of Geodesy, especially within the field of land development.
